Our commitment to child safety
Pawly: Pet Care & Social is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation of minors, and any use of Pawly to facilitate or promote the sexual abuse or exploitation of children.
Prohibited content and behavior
Users must not create, upload, publish, share, request, solicit, distribute, or promote child sexual abuse material or other content that sexually exploits or endangers minors. Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, and attempts to use Pawly to facilitate child exploitation are prohibited. These rules apply to social posts, comments, messages, profile content, images, videos, and any other features available on Pawly.
How to report a child safety concern
If you encounter suspected child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation of a minor, or other child safety concerns on Pawly, report the content or account using the in-app reporting tools, where available. You can also contact our child safety team at zahidghotia@gmail.com. Include a description of the concern and relevant account or content links when safe to do so. Do not download, attach, copy, or redistribute suspected illegal imagery when making a report.
How we detect and handle it
Every post and comment is screened automatically before others can see it, using a word list and an AI moderation model that classifies text and images; anything that may involve a minor is removed on the spot and placed in front of a moderator, and anything else that looks unsafe is held until a moderator approves it. Every post, comment, profile and chat message has a Report option in the app and on the website, with a dedicated “Child safety” reason that a single report is enough to pull the content from view. Chats are encrypted at rest and can be opened for a safety review by Pawly staff, with every such read written to an audit log.
Review and enforcement
Pawly reviews child safety reports and takes appropriate action based on the nature and urgency of the concern. Actions may include removing violating content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant information where legally permitted or required, and escalating concerns to appropriate authorities when required by applicable law. We may take immediate action when necessary to protect users. We do not tolerate retaliation against people who report safety concerns in good faith.
Prevention and ongoing improvements
We are committed to maintaining and improving safeguards against child sexual abuse and exploitation. Our approach includes making these standards publicly available, providing a channel for child safety reports, reviewing reports, and taking appropriate enforcement action. We review our practices as Pawly's features and applicable requirements evolve.
